Jetty Island is a man-made island in Everett, Washington. It has a rare sandy beach, so it’s a lot of fun to visit in the summer.
It can only be accessed by boat, so we chose to use the free ferry. You can make reservations for groups of 8 or more. Otherwise, it’s first come first served.
When you walk to the beach, they have signs warning of ghost shrimp. You really can sink at low tide, but it’s not too hard to get back out.
I spotted a pretty big burrowing shrimp.
The boys working on digging their own holes. They loved that the holes would fill up with water and created their own streams and pools.
Micah was filthy. haha.
